About the Camp

The Elementary School Hockey Camp gives K-5 players a full week of skill-building, scrimmages, and off-ice fun. Two on-ice sessions every day, structured activities between them, and a friendly atmosphere where new friendships are part of the experience.

Requirements

Grade: Entering K through 5th grade
Skill level: Basic hockey skills required — comfortable skating with some stick handling
Full hockey equipment required:
Helmet w/ cage, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, hockey pants, shin guards, skates, stick.
Brand-new to hockey? Try Learn to Play or Flyers Rookies first.

What to Bring Each Day

  • Full hockey equipment
  • Water bottle (refillable preferred)
  • Snacks for the morning break
  • Lunch (no on-site lunch service)
  • A change of clothes for off-ice activities

Frequently Asked Questions

What skill level is needed?

Basic hockey skills are required — campers should be comfortable on skates and have some stick handling experience. Brand-new players should look at Learn to Play or Flyers Rookies first.

Is lunch provided?

No — please pack snacks and a lunch for your child.

Can I sign up for multiple weeks?

Yes — save $25 per week when you register for more than one.

Is early drop-off or late pickup available?

Drop-off is at 8:30 AM and pickup is at 1:00 PM. Contact Hockey Director John Povey if you need to discuss other options.

What happens on a rainy day?

Camp runs rain or shine — most activities are indoors, on the ice or in the building.
