The 2026 Super Skills Series at Ice Line offers a range of specialized hockey clinics designed to elevate players' abilities in various aspects of the game. These clinics, open to players of all skill levels from birth years 2019-2008, provide expert instruction from current and former Tier 1 AAA, Junior, College, and Professional players and coaches. Clinics focus on key areas such as checking, defense, power skating, shooting, goaltending, and stickhandling, with players grouped by age and size to ensure appropriate training levels. Each clinic emphasizes critical skills like body positioning, puck protection, skating mechanics, and offensive and defensive tactics, tailored to improve performance on the ice. Participants can register for individual sessions or multiple clinics, with discounts available for multiple registrations. Whether you're looking to sharpen your checking skills or enhance your shooting accuracy, these clinics provide the perfect environment to take your game to the next level.

Super Skills 2026

Power Skating

Skating is the foundation of great hockey. Enhance your skating mechanics, balance, and speed with this dedicated Power Skating Clinic — perfect for players of all levels, from beginner to advanced.

  • Open to all skill levels (birth years 2019–2008). Players are grouped by age and size.
  • Topics include: Posture, edge control, hockey stops, V-starts, lateral agility, and overspeed training.
  • Instruction by: Current/former Tier 1 AAA, Junior, College, & Professional players & coaches.

  • Topics include: Puck control, acceleration, moves, fakes, and dekes.
  • Instruction by: Current/former Tier 1 AAA, Junior, College, & Professional players & coaches.

Defense Clinic

Defense wins championships. This clinic is tailored for defensemen, taught by defensemen. Improve your defensive game with specialized drills to enhance footwork, gap control, and decision-making.

  • Open to all skill levels (birth years 2019–2008). Players are grouped by age and size.
  • Topics include: Backwards skating, lateral mobility, gap control, positioning, 1-on-1, 2-on-1, and 3-on-2 strategies.
  • Instruction by: Current/former Tier 1 AAA, Junior, College, & Professional players & coaches.

SHOOTING & goaltending

A combination clinic offering specialized training for both shooters and goaltenders simultaneously. Skaters focus on scoring techniques while goalies work on positioning and puck handling.

  • Open to all skill levels (birth years 2019–2008). Players are grouped by age and size.
  • Topics for skaters: Wrist, snap, backhand, and slap shots, one-timers, breakaways, and rebounds.
  • Topics for goalies: Body positioning, squaring up to shooters, lateral movement, and puck handling.
  • Instruction by: Current/former Tier 1 AAA, Junior, College, & Professional players & coaches.

Master the art of body checking in this comprehensive Checking Clinic. Covering all aspects of checking — gap control, angling, stick use, body positioning, and contact — in a safe and structured environment.

  • Open to all skill levels (birth years 2008–2015). Players are grouped by age and size.
  • Topics include: Stick positioning, puck protection, hitting across the ice, reading the play, and puck battles.
  • Instruction by: Current/former Tier 1 AAA, Junior, College, & Professional players & coaches.
